The Precinct by Jeff Ruby and Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse, Cincinnati Among Ohio’s Top Six Foodie Destinations.

OpenTable, the leader in restaurant tech and guest insights has named The Precinct by Jeff Ruby and Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse, Cincinnati on its Top 100 Restaurants in America List. While both are best known for their world-class U.S.D.A. prime steaks, raw bar, and a premium wine selection, each restaurant also has its unique personality and charm. Combined with impeccable service, guests are treated to the royal experience across all the senses.

Cincinnati dominated the Ohio food scene with all six honorees based in The Queen City. As stated in OpenTable’s announcement, over 14 million diner reviews and dining metrics informed the list’s rankings, including diner ratings, percentage of reservations made in advance, and five-star reviews.

“We are both humbled and honored to be included on OpenTable’s Top 100 Restaurants in America list and to play a part in showcasing Cincinnati’s culinary excellence,” Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment President and CEO, Britney Ruby Miller said. “We closely track guest feedback across all our markets to ensure we’re providing our guests with an unforgettable experience. Cincinnati consistently stands out as a top dining destination and it’s a privilege to share this recognition with four other outstanding restaurants.”

The caliber of restaurants and competition evolved from 2023. According to OpenTable, this year’s list includes 53 cities (vs. last year’s 63). This is also the third consecutive year that Cincinnati was the only city in Ohio to have restaurants featured on the list.

The Precinct is the first of Jeff Ruby’s nationally acclaimed steakhouses and where his vision for The Jeff Ruby Experience was brought to life. Opening in 1981 in the old Cincinnati Police Patrol House No. 6, it is now the longest continuously running fine dining restaurant in the city. For more than four decades, The Precinct has served its guests timeless memories and an extraordinary dining experience.

Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse has been a Cincinnati landmark for more than 20 years. In 2022, the restaurant moved from 700 Walnut St. to 505 Vine St. adjacent to Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati. Guests frequently gather around the bar area along the elevated stage where a mother-of-pearl and gold-plated piano serves as a showstopping centerpiece. The original Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse, Cincinnati location on Walnut St. was transformed to an event venue, The Lempicka by Jeff Ruby, and opened in 2023. The Lempicka offers a white-glove approach to events with five-star fine dining where guests are treated like royalty.
