The always-entertaining Business Insider has come up with a list of the best steakhouse in every state, so of course we had to take a look.
Business Insider said it worked with Foursquare, the city-guide app, to create the list, which is based on explicit ratings, visit popularity and tip sentiment.
The winner in Kentucky? Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse in downtown Louisville. Here’s what it had to say:
Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse in Louisville is where “traditional New York steakhouse meets Las Vegas glitz.” Guests are wild about the Cowboy steak, top-tier sushi, and live piano music. It also offers a selection of beef that’s dry aged in-house.
The Cowboy steak, according to the Jeff Ruby’s menu, is a 22-ounce bone-in ribeye, aged in house. It’ll run you $66.
Jeff Ruby’s is based in Cincinnati, but another steakhouse took the honor in Ohio: Jag’s Steak and Seafood in West Chester, a Cincinnati suburb you might know as the location of an Ikea store.
The report found that in Indiana, the best steakhouse is St. Elmo Steakhouse in downtown Indianapolis — and, yes, it mentioned the jumbo shrimp cocktail.
